On Sunday, October 8, 2023, Master of Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia (MM FEB UI), celebrated its 35th Dies Natalis with the theme ‘Living a Legacy: Sustaining Excellence.’ This event marked not only the commemoration of MM FEB UI’s anniversary but also an opportunity to celebrate the strong connection between the alma mater and the alums that have evolved over the years.
The event witnessed a series of vibrant activities, starting with a fun morning walk, followed by a friendly gathering at the auditorium, and concluding with a luncheon and networking in the afternoon. Distinguished figures, including the Dean and Vice Dean of FEB UI, the Professors of FEB UI, the Alumni Association of MM FEB UI (previous and current periods), the Advisory Board and Mentors of MM FEB UI, were also present to deliver inspirational speeches about the future of education and management development in Indonesia. What truly made this event special was the presence of alumni who added to the celebration by sharing their testimonials from their time pursuing their master’s degrees at the institution.
The homecoming event allowed graduates of this program to return to their alma mater, share their experiences, and build networks with fellow alums and current students. This presented a valuable opportunity for exchanging ideas and enhanced collaboration among alums and the program.
Furthermore, the event was enlivened with door prize drawings, students’ performances, and games. These elements created a warm atmosphere and filled the guests with a sense of pride and camaraderie.
35th Dies Natalis of MM FEB UI not only celebrated the prestigious history of the program but also underscored their commitment to continuous innovation in the management field. Hopefully, this momentum will continue strengthening the connectivity between alums, students, and faculty while also contributing to advancing education and business development in Indonesia.
