DAY 1 GNW MARCH 2024 MM FEB UI
“A Path to Net Zero – Business Role in Helping Solve the Global Climate Crisis”
Master of Management Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Indonesia (MM FEB UI) held the 16th Global Network Week (GNW). This year we had 94 participants in total, and 51 of them came from 7 different business schools such as Seoul National University, Technologico de Monterrey, School of International Corporate Strategy, Indian Institute of Management, Yale School of Environment, Yale SOM, Renmin University of China, and MM FEB UI. In addition to the international students, local participants came from several business schools in Indonesia that are members of APMMI.
GNW UI March 2024 main theme was “A Path to Net Zero – Business Role in Helping Solve the Global Climate Crisis” and was held in 2 cities – Jakarta and Depok – to explore businesses and discuss with experts from different backgrounds. This event could not be possible without the support of our partners: PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia, PT. Permodalan Nasional Madani, PT. Pegadaian, Tanoto Foundation, PT. Pertamina, PT. Telkom Indonesia, PT. Blue Bird, and Arwana Ceramics.
This event started with a briefing by FEB UI lecturer, Mr. Jonathan Marpaung, Ph.D. After a brief information about the activities to be held during GNW 2024 for international participants, we moved to A One Hotel for lunch. Then we went to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah to experience the different platforms of West Sumatra, West Kalimantan, South Sulawesi, and Central Java. Participants enjoyed regional dance attractions and gained an understanding of the local culture. They also had the opportunity to shop at the souvenir shops in TMII. The group returned to MM UI Salemba at 17.00 WIB, and the participants concluded the first day of GNW March 2024 activities.
